Telecommunications and internet services

It is the tenants’s responsibility to ensure that they do thorough research and checks to ensure that a rental property has the services that they require prior to signing a General Tenancy Agreement to lease a property.

The Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 does not specify that the landlord is responsible to have these services installed at a rental property, therefore it is recommended that tenant’s contact their service provider directly and conduct thorough research on what is available.

National Broadband Network (NBN)

Getting NBN Installed

If you would like to get NBN connected and it is an available service at the property address, you will need consent from the Landlord or Property Manager before you can start the installation process.  Please email hello@purere.com.au for permission for NBN and we can seek approval from your Property Owner.

Please note it is the tenant’s responsibility to pay for the NBN installation and monthly service charges.

Vacating your property with NBN

If you are vacating your rental property and had NBN connected, please ensure you leave the NBN equipment (box and two cables) at the property when you vacate.  The NBN equipment has been programmed individually to this property.
